A woman dressed in a maid outfit had her hands on her hips and let out a huff
as she looked around for the little brat. He needed to be in bed before his
father got home or she would be out of a job. Unbeknownst to her, nine-year-old
Inu-Taisho hid behind the couch as he picked the right moment to scare her. As
she turned her back to him, he took that chance.
"Boo!" The women jumped letting out a yelp and turned around spotting Inutaisho
laughing at the woman.
"Seriously Inu-Taisho?" Aoi sighed and calmed her nerves.
"You should have your face! You were so scared."
"Not as scared as you're going to be if your father comes home and sees you,"
Aoi smirked when she saw Inu-Taisho's face drop.
"Fine you win." Inu-Taisho gave up.
Aoi smiled, "Let's go. I have a plate of cookies waiting upstairs." Inu-
Taisho's face lit up once again. She knew he wasn't supposed to have sweets
this late but what the boss didn't know wouldn't hurt him. Just as they were
making their way to the stair, Inu-Taisho heard a click at the door and knew it
was his father. It was forever since he seen him and he let his emotions rule
before his brain. He dashed away from Aoi ignoring her calling his name.
"Daddy!" Inu-Taisho ran to his father arms outstretched expecting a hug in
return. Instead, he was meet with a palm stopping him in his tracks.
"Da-"
"Why are you up?" Izanagi demanded. He had dark circles under his eyes and
strands of his hair was poking out. He was exhausted and did not feel like
dealing with his son – at all.
"I wanted to see you." He saw his father narrow his eyes, and Inu-Taisho gulped
regretting his choice.
"Aoi!" Izanagi yelled, and she was there before he could blink an eye.
"Yes, sir?"
"Get him to bed and when you come back down, we need to talk."
"Yes, sir," Aoi said and ushered Inu-Taisho to the stairs. "Hurry. We don't
want to make your father any angrier." She took the boy upstairs and to his
room. When he was settled, Aoi didn't miss the tears that trailed down his
right cheek.
"Why doesn't he ever want to see me?"
Aoi sighed, "It's not that…he's just…. Tired." She lied through her teeth. Ever
since Inu-Taisho's mother died and she had dropped off on his father's doorstep
three years ago, she knew Izanagi wanted nothing to do with the young boy. He
ignored him fully at times. Inu-Taisho sniffed and rolled over on his side, his
back facing Aoi. She patted his back, "Love you kiddo." She left closing the
door behind her. Aoi went to the kitchen and prepared Izanagi's tea. He always
did like tea after a long day at work. Even if he got home late from work, he
went straight to his office to finish more work. He was a workaholic; Aoi knew
that much.
She knocked on the door and waited for Izanagi to give her permission to enter.
"Come in." His voice was gruff from what she guessed from overworking himself.
"I have your tea, sir." She smiled and put the tray of tea next to Izanagi. She
waited, knowing he was going to yell at her like other times.
"Sit down." He commanded, and Aoi immediately sat in the chair that was facing
his desk, so they were sitting across from each other. He glanced up from her
his paperwork and smirked, "You're fired." Immediately Aoi's face dropped and
grew pale. She thought this would be like other times where he yelled at her
and dismissed her. But this time…it was different.
B-but sir-! I've been here for ten years! I've been loyal and rarely messed up!
Please!" She started here when she was 20 years old. She lived here; it was too
good. A free place, free food, and all she had to do was watch after Inu-Taisho
who she grew to love like he was her own.
"I don't care. I want you gone tonight. I don't care where you go. All your
things. Gone."
Aoi felt fury! How dare he? Just because he was a full bloodied dog demon and
she was a human gave him no right! "Fuck you."
"Excuse-!"
Aoi was standing up now pointing her finger at Izanagi."Exactly what I said!
You-! You are the most heartless and cold individual I have ever meet! You
don't even care about that poor boy upstairs…you put him off with others while
you go fuck sluts and work all the time-" She suddenly couldn't breathe as
Izanagi 's sharp claws were wrapped tightly around her neck.
"You'll regret those words." He squeezed her neck until she finally stopped
fighting and her body slacked. He let Aoi's body fall to the ground and decided
to clean it up later. He grabbed his cell phone and leaned against his desk to
make a few phone calls. "Get here soon. The smell is revolting. And while you
are at it…get a new maid." He pressed end and preceded to his bedroom.

                                 Morning after
===============================================================================
Young Inu-Taisho's eyes fluttered open when he heard his door open. He yawned
and sat up expecting to see Aoi. "Good morning." He blinked at the older women
that stood in his doorway. This was not Aoi. "Who are you?" Inu-Taisho asked.
"Chiharu. I'm the new maid here. Now get up. We need to get you ready for
school."
"No! Where's Aoi?" Inu-Taisho asked, and he saw the woman shrugged.
"I don't know. Now get up." Inu-Taisho reluctantly got up and followed the maid
to the bathroom where she directed him inside so he can shower. "When you were
done, your clothes will be on your bed and breakfast will be ready downstairs."
"Whatever." Inu-Taisho slammed the bathroom door. He was angry his father fired
his only friend. Someone that took the time to get to know him.
Now… he had no one.
All because of his father.
From that day on…young Inu-Taisho kept his walls up, and his heart closed.

                                 4 Years Later
                           Inu-Taisho: 13 years' old
===============================================================================
Inu-Taisho was now thirteen years old attending one of the top private schools
in all of Japan. He didn't have any friends, not that he needed any, most of
the kids thought he was weird because of the color of his hair and eyes. There
were more humans than demons at his school and even then the demons didn't want
to talk to him - ever.
He grabbed his book bag and headed to the front of the school where he knew his
father's limo would be waiting.
That's the only thing his father did.
Scold him about his grades, not being the star of the school, his looks, his
behavior. Everything you could think of, his father insulted him about. That
leads him to not having the best self-esteem and him staring at mirror
wondering how he could make himself perfect in his father's eyes.
The driver opened the door for Inu-Taisho, who got in, not surprised his father
was inside and on his phone-like always.
"Hi, dad," Inu-Taisho said and directed his attention to outside the window. It
wasn't new that his father barely said two words to him.
It was quiet for a while until, "Your principle called me today." Izanagi said
nonchalantly.
Inu-Taisho gulped but tried to play it cool, "What about?" There was a searing
pain in the back his head; it hurt so bad Inu-Taisho couldn't help but let out
a yelp. His father had grabbed him by his ponytail pulling him towards him.
"Dad-!"
"Shut your mouth!" Izanagi growled. "I pay millions of dollars a year to send
you to this school, and here you are getting Cs and skipping your classes! What
the hell is wrong with you?!" Izanagi yank harder making Inu-Taisho whimper. "I
want a goddamn answer." Izanagi hissed. The only thing he got was whimpers and
tears from his son. "You're a piece of shit." Izanagi pushed him to the other
side of the car, where Inu-Taisho hit the door of the limo. Before the young
boy could collect what happened there was a sharp slap in the air and Inu-
Taisho howled holding his redding cheek. "If I could…I would discard you and
have another son to replace your revolting existence."
There was nothing else said as Izanagi went back on his phone and Inu-Taisho
tried to stifle his whimpers by biting his lip. Once they arrived, the driver
opened the door and seeing the mark on Inu-Taisho's face. He felt sorry for the
boy…he really did. But he could do nothing but pretend nothing happen in fear
of the kid's father. Inu-Taisho rushed off passed the maid that tried to stop
him and up the stairs he went, slamming the door to his room and locking it.
It was the only protection he had against his father just in case he decided to
release more anger on him. He fell on his bed his face buried in his arms, and
he let the tears and emotions let go.
I didn't ask for this life…
I wish my mother were still alive…
I'd rather be in a foster home then here with him!
Thought after thought went through his mind. Why did he have to be left with
that monster?
But what other choice did he have? He knew no one; he had no friends and his
father was powerful and had connections all throughout Japan. He couldn't
escape even if he wanted too. He gave up. Simple as that. He felt a headache
coming on and decided to go to sleep.
Anything for temporary escape.
===============================================================================
                            A couple of weeks later
===============================================================================
After the episode that happened in the limo a couple of weeks earlier, Inu-
Taisho made sure to attend all his classes and his grades were straight A's.
There were no complaints from Izanagi to Inu-Taisho's surprise. He was even
shocked when his father handed him his first cell phone. He didn't have any
friends to text or call, so it just sat in Inu-Taisho pocket whenever his
father call or what not.
The bell ranged, and Inu-Taisho walked to his usual spot where the limo usually
was.
But.
It wasn't there.
He blinked. It was unusual. The limo was always there with his father inside.
It wouldn't be as bad if it weren't raining. Maybe he's just running late. Inu-
Taisho tried to reassure himself. He even checked his cell phone…no calls or
texts. He pulled up his dad's contact and called him.
It ranged and then went straight to voicemail. Inu-Taisho furrowed his brows
and tried to call the limo driver but no luck either. He sighed and glanced
outside; the rain was starting to pick up, and if he didn't start now he would
be soaked by the time he got home.
Inu-Taisho started walking home.
===============================================================================
By the time Inu-Taisho made it back, he was soaking wet. He got his key out and
opened the door only to be greeted by the maid.
"Oh, Inu-Taisho-."
"No," Inu-Taisho said through gritted teeth, and he headed to his father's
office. He has pissed off that his father forgot about him, and he had to walk
home in the rain. He didn't care if his father was angry that he came in
without knocking. He had no right to be mad.
"Wait Inu-Taisho! Your father is-."
"Dad-!" He slammed the door open, but whatever he was going to say was lost as
he saw a young man in his late twenties sitting on his father's lap with his
arms wrapped around his father's neck. He had his long red hair pulled into a
high and neat bun, and his green eyes sparkled at Inu-Taisho. He was quite
attractive, Inu-Taisho concluded, and the young man smirked making the young
teen gulp.
"Inu-Taisho…" His father's voice broke him out of his trance, and he blinked at
his father. "What do you want?"
And that's when the young boy's remembered why he stormed in here, "You forgot
me at school. I had to walk home in the rain." He glanced at the young man and
then back at his father. "I called you, and it went straight to voicemail…I see
why, though." Inu-Taisho said waiting on his father's response. His father only
narrowed his eyes, and he knew what was going to come next. He braced himself
for it.
"You inso-." He stopped when he felt a smooth palm against his cheek.
"Now dear…" The young man purred. "I'm sure he didn't mean anything by it." The
man reassured. Izanagi sighed and dismissed his son with the wave of his hand.
"We will talk later," Inu-Taisho said nothing and closed the door behind him.
He heard laughter and shook his head and left his father to his activities.
===============================================================================
Inu-Taisho was packing his backpack for the next day when the door opened, and
his father stood there. "Yes, dad?" He saw his father come in and shut the door
behind him.
"Be glad, Kaoru was there to persuade my actions, or you have been on the floor
with bruises. Do NOT ever disrespect me again in front of others. Understood?"
"…"
Izanagi made his hand into a fist as he tried not to strike his son.
"Understood."
"Yes, I understand," Inu-Taisho said watching his father relax.
"Good. Now Kaoru is who you saw earlier. He will be living with us for now on
as my Fiancé. I want you to show the same respect as you show me. And if I hear
anything about disrespect from you then I will make sure to give you the
beating of your lifetime. Do you understand me Inu-Taisho."
Inu-Taisho gulped, "Yes sir." With that, his father left and Inu-Taisho could
finally breathe. He didn't know how long this would last or what could happen.
But what he did know is if he stayed out the way…there wouldn't be any
problems.
===============================================================================
                               A few weeks later
===============================================================================
A few weeks past and Inu-Taisho kept to himself and ignored his father and his
fiancé to his best ability and show respect at the same time. There were
moments where Kaoru tried to make conversation with him and Inu-Taisho would
just give him short answers leaving Kaoru frustrated and ending the
conversation, much to Inu-Taisho's enjoyment.
He was picked up like always at school but his father wasn't there, and Inu-
Taisho just put it out of his mind thinking his dad had to work or something.
When he got home, he went straight to his room telling the maid to bring his
dinner to his room tonight.
He started on his homework and concentrated on that until he heard a knock on
his door. "Come in," Inu-Taisho said absent-mildly. Expecting to see the maid
he glanced up only to see Kaoru shutting the door behind him.
"What do you want?"
Kaoru smirked. "I just wanted to talk." Inu-Taisho looked at him warily and
wanted to tell him to get out and lock his door.
"I just want to-"
"You're a cutie. You know that?" Kaoru purred.
Inu-Taisho was taken aback, but he didn't let the man see that. "Get out," Inu-
Taisho growled. "Now." He didn't have the aura that his father possessed to
frighten others, but hopefully, this was enough to scare the older male off.
No success.
Kaoru went to sit on Inu-Taisho's bed. Why don't you join me on the couch
cutie? I'm sure I can show you a few things." Kaoru winked. "I promise I won't
let your father know." He whispered the last part.
Inu-Taisho started to feel uncomfortable, and his eyes flicked to the door
noticing that It was still unlocked. He thought if he could reach the door
before Kaoru, he could get out of here. Inu-Taisho took the chance, but Kaoru
was there before he could reach the door handle. Kaoru had a hurt look on his
face. "You tried to run away from me." Kaoru he locked the door. "But we're not
gonna let that happen hm?" He started to walk towards Inu-Taisho and Inu-Taisho
backed up until he fell on the bed. Then Kaoru was on him, holding him down by
his arms.
"Let me go!" Inu-Taisho yelled, but Kaoru covered his mouth. "Yell again and
I'll make sure to make this even more painful. He hissed and uncovered Inu-
Taisho's mouth. Inu-Taisho only went to say something more but a tongue was
shoved down his throat. He felt every slimy wiggle, and he screamed in Kaoru's
mouth. Tears started falling as he struggled and fought but to no prevail he
just couldn't get Kaoru off.
"You taste delicious cutie. Why don't we see if your packing like your dad
hmm?" He reached down and grabbed Inu-Taisho limp dick and Kaoru raised his
eyebrows in surprise. "you're big for a kid? Guess it runs in the family." The
older man smirked and leaned down for another kiss until he heard the front
door slam.
"Kaoru! Where are you?!"
"Shit! He grabbed Inu-Taisho's chin and yanked where they were making eye
contact. "If you tell ANYONE about this, I'll kill you. Do you understand?"
Inu-Taisho hiccupped and shook his head yes. With that Kaoru climbed off him
and quietly made his exit.
"Hey, babe!" He heard Kaoru say and then the voice disappeared as he went down
the stairs. Inu-Taisho curled in on himself. He was shaking, petrified about
what just happened. And the worst thing about it was it could happen again. He
couldn't tell his dad... Kaoru threaten to kill him. What was he to do? He
curled in on himself more and let the silent tears fall.
===============================================================================
Inu-Taisho nervously stood outside his father's office. It's been a week since
it happened and every night Inu-Taisho woke up afraid thinking Kaoru was on top
of him. He made sure that he was never alone, around the maid mostly or outside
his room. Anything to make sure Kaoru wouldn't touch him again. He took a
breath and knocked on his father's door waiting to be given permission to
enter.
"Come in." Inu-Taisho opened the door, and his father glanced up, "Oh it's
you." His father put down his papers. "What do you want?" His father stared at
him waiting for an answer, but Inu-Taisho was choking on his words. "Well!" His
patience was growing thin.
"Dad…" Inu-Taisho swallowed nervously. " Kaoru he tried to…hurt me."
Izanagi arched an eyebrow. "How so?"
Inu-Taisho looked dead in his father's eyes, and silence overtook the room.
"Get out and I don't want to hear any more of this. Understood?"
"But-!"
"Get out!" His father roared, and Inu-Taisho ran out before his father could
see his tears. He slammed the door behind him. He went to his room and locked
the door falling on his bed. His father didn't believe him! His son! He
believes Kaoru over him! Inu-Taisho couldn't believe it..but what if Kaoru
caught wind of this? Would he kill him like he said?
All he could do was sit and wait.
